All About Me- Engineer Naveed Yusuf

Hi, I’m Engineer Naveed Yusuf. I am a professional engineer and an expert in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). Welcome to my blog, Naveed Blog. Here, I share insights on the latest technology news and tourism. In fact, I bring over 35 years of experience as a professional engineer. Initially, I served in the Pakistan Air Force for more than 30 years.

Subsequently, my career led me to my present assignment at the National University of Technology (NUTECH). Throughout my career, I consistently developed expertise in governance. I also worked on public and private sector development programs. Moreover, I collaborated with organizations on capacity building. In addition, I helped improve educational standards. Recently, I have focused on strategic plans for institutions in the TVET sector. Currently, my research centers on employee satisfaction, TVET innovations, and the challenges facing the skilled workforce.

Professional Career - Interaction with latest technology

While serving in PAF, I worked in various command and staff appointments. During this time, I also collaborated with several national and international organizations. These included the Armed Forces of Pakistan, GIZ Germany, and the Turku Vocational Institute in Finland. Furthermore, I worked closely with government departments such as the Ministries of Federal Education and Professional Training, and Science and Technology. I also worked with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission. In addition, I engaged with different TEVTAs and Boards of Technical Education. Moreover, I contributed significantly to improving TVET standards. This was achieved through the TVET Accreditation and Quality Assurance Committee, Pakistan’s leading body for TVET quality assurance. Looking ahead, these experiences continue to shape my views on the future of Pakistan’s skilled workforce.

Passion for Tourism

In addition to my professional work with the latest technology, I have a passion for travelling to hilly areas. Consequently, I share my travel experiences here on the blog, with the aim of showcasing the beauty of my country to a global audience.
