All About Me

I’m Engineer Naveed Yusuf — a professional engineer and specialist in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). I bring over 35 years of experience, beginning with more than 30 years in the Pakistan Air Force, where I held a range of command and staff appointments.
My work today centers on the National University of Technology (NUTECH), where I focus on governance, institutional development, and strengthening Pakistan’s TVET sector. My current research explores employee satisfaction and the challenges facing Pakistan’s skilled workforce.

Beyond engineering and governance, I have a deep passion for travelling through Pakistan’s hilly and northern regions. I share these journeys here on the blog, aiming to showcase the beauty of my country to a global audience.

Visit to Kalri District Bhimber, AJK
I, along with my Team, visited Kalri on 25 February 2025. Kalri is a small town in district Bhimber AJK. I had the opportunity to address more than 100 students and teachers and present them with different programs and skills initiatives of NUTECH.

Visit to Innovista and Meeting with Hisham Server
NUTECH delegation headed by Rector NUTECH visited Innovista Rawal at DHA Phase-I Rawalpindi. Mr Hisham Sarwar received the NUTECH delegation. I was part of the delegation. A detailed discussion was held. Both organizations agreed to collaborate in future for youth development. MOU signing ceremony was held to formalize the collaboration.

Visit to Manthoka Waterfall Skardu
I visited Pakistan’s most stunning waterfall. the Manthoka Waterfall.
It is nestled in the heart of Skardu, Pakistan, is a breathtaking natural wonder that draws adventurers and nature enthusiasts alike. Cascading from a height of approximately 180 feet, this stunning waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and rugged mountain landscapes, creating a serene and picturesque ambiance.

Visit to Mabali Resort with Colleagues of University
I visited Mabali Island with my friends and colleagues for a day-long recreational visit. About 50 km from Islamabad-Peshawar M-1 toll plaza, nestled near the serene Khanpur Dam, Mabali Island is a hidden gem offering a perfect escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Known for its breathtaking views, thrilling water sports, and tranquil ambience, it’s the ultimate destination for relaxation and excitement.
